Digital technologies are different.

To navigate the future of technology we need an updated mindset - from Kurzweil's law of accelerating returns to Metcalf's Law of Network Effects. Only then can we explain growth stories like Netflix or Google. In the presentation, Anders will fly through examples of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Biotech and 3D printing to illustrate how technology is changing the value system and making most sectors ripe for disruptive innovation.

Anders on A.I.:
At the end of November 2022, OpenAI released the new AI ChatGPT for free use by anyone. In 2 months, it became the fastest-growing product ever launched, with 100 users. The performances and capabilities of ChatGPT have dumbfounded the world, showing that generative AI systems like ChatGPT will impact almost every industry and seriously disrupt more than a few types of business in the coming years. ChatGPT is the ultimate productivity tool: it can serve as a capable communications worker, business idea generator, planner, text simplifier, coder, marketeer, sales assistant, and more. We are currently seeing rapid business innovation and adoption, with entrepreneurs and organizations developing new AI use cases and starting to leverage these new, flexible technologies for their full potential. For any company today, one question urgently needs an answer: How will generative AI change our business?

Achivements:
Anders Hvid is an honest rebel looking to create disruptive change where it is needed. He is cofounder and partner in DareDisrupt, member of the SIRI Commission, former advisor to the EU commission, former advisor to the Minister of Education, author of two books Face the Future 2014 and Grib Fremtiden (Danish) 2018, and for seven years he was faculty member and the Danish ambassador for Singularity University. He is a requested speaker and commentator in the media and press on the topic of emerging technology, disruption and the future of business and society. Over the last four years, Anders has been delivering more than 200 keynotes in more than 20 countries.

Topics for talks:
A Nordic Perspective to Digitization Technology is everywhere in our society. How we work, live and relate to each other are changing. What kind of future are we creating and what kind of future do we want to create? In the US, the model seems to be 'data for profit' while in China is more 'data for control'. Neither seems attractive or sustainable in a European context. We need a third way a model where tech is supporting the core values of the Nordic countries. We might not be the ones who develop new technology, but we are leading in implementing it. In his presentation, Anders will introduce the need for a third model and how value based innovation or sustainable disruption can be leveraged to guide us.
