Maria Ritola is a Finnish entrepreneur, award-winning technology influencer, and experienced speaker. She has delivered hundreds of speeches, hosted events, and moderated panel discussions.
Maria is one of the founders of the technology company Iris.ai, where she has built AI-based applications to help researchers utilize scientific articles faster and more comprehensively. Iris.ai has received multiple international awards and is a finalist in the AI XPrize competition.
Maria has attended the Singularity University's Future School in Silicon Valley. She has been selected as Young Achiever of the Year and recognized among influential women in technology in the Nordic region. She serves on the boards of Sylva Association and Foundation, and has also worked on the board of the State Development Company, Vake Oy. Maria regularly discusses technology trends on Yle's morning television program, Jälkidigi.
